OneDirectory UI Updates (March 21)
Howdy!
We have a whole bunch of OneDirectory user interface updates to share with you:
😊 Added your company logo to the OneDirectory interface! Your company logo can be updated in Settings.
⛛ Added Office and Department sort by options to the Face view in search results.
⚙️ Reorganized OneDirectory settings options. Options are now grouped into sections for General, Search Results, Sidebar, Offices & Departments, and Profile. Look out for more settings options in the near future!
⚙️ Added a new OneDirectory display setting called "Default sort order" which you can use to change the default sort by field used in the search results.
🔔 "What's New" - Now you can discover what's new in our platform by viewing product updates right within the app. Just click the What's New bell icon in the sidebar menu (above your profile photo) to see what's new in the Vinewave platform.
💬 Changed the Microsoft Teams chat link on the employee profiles from "Chat to" to "Chat with" (if you're curious, here's why - Chat to or chat with?).
🤹 Sorted employee profile skills and interests alphabetically.
🧑🤝🧑 Updated heading on Everyone page from "N people in total" to "N people in {Organization Name}".
🔍 Changed default message that shows when focus on search box from "Start typing to search your company." to "Start typing to search {Organization Name}."
🔤 Fixed positioning of the alphabet bar (it was going behind the profile avatar on smaller screens).
💬 Added Intercom messenger to the Vinewave login and register pages, in case you need assistance there.
🌐 Added icons to the list view header row for "homepage," "website," "webpage," and "extension" custom fields if they exist. Also added formatting rules to the employee profile for these custom field types.
🔗 Added a hyperlink to the website/URL field type for custom fields in the list view.
🔗 Added a "Vinewave Dashboard" link in the OneDirectory profile menu (now at the top right) if you're a OneDirectory admin.
🔗 Added a "Contact Vinewave Support" link to the Access Denied page.
💎 Added a filtering rule option for checking whether an employee has a manager or not.
👷 Fixed certain job title links not working when they contained slashes.
🐛 Fixed bug with page title on employee profile not showing the person's name when loading the profile directly via its URL.
