Performance Updates to Processing of SharePoint Audit Entries

As you can imagine, capturing and processing tens of millions of SharePoint audit entries from the Microsoft Graph requires a lot of engineering, and keeping our analytics platform running smoothly is a big part of our Engineering team's focus.

Over the past two weeks they've been hard at work improving performance throughout the app to make your SharePoint Vitals experience even better!

One of the biggest improvements in this release is in the calculation of the all-time stats on the Sites and People reports. This is, of course, the total number of views You'll see a noticeable increase in the loading times of these reports.

Another big improvement is that we doubled the number of audit records we can process at a time. Although pretty much "behind the scenes," this update means faster processing of your data, so you'll see it on your dashboard quicker, especially if you're tracking millions of document views and audit records.
