Show Which Filtering Rules are Being Applied
We've added a new feature that allows you to see the specific rules that are causing profiles to be hidden.
In OneDirectory edit mode you will now be able to see whether a profile is being hidden due to one or more of the following filtering rules:
- The "Hidden Service Accounts" filtering rule: This rule is typically applied to service accounts that do not represent actual employees and are often excluded from directory listings to maintain focus on human personnel.
- The "Hidden Guest Accounts" filtering rule: Guest accounts are often temporary and may not need to be displayed alongside permanent staff profiles. This rule helps maintain the relevance and integrity of the employee directory.
- The "Domain Filtering" rule: In organizations with multiple domains, it may be necessary to exclude certain domains from the directory. This rule allows for such customization, ensuring that only relevant user accounts are visible.
This level of detail ensures that you, as an administrator, have a clear understanding of the directory's configuration and the active filters that influence employee profiles. It also makes troubleshooting easier.
